Description of 1969 Dodge Coronet

1969 1/2 “A12” Dodge Super Bee Hardtop 1 Of 661 Auto Cars Produced. This is a Genuine “M” Code car, NOT A REPLICA. 440 Six Pack #’s Matching Motor matted to a 727 Auto Trans. Unfortunately, this car was involved in an altercation with a metal post after it was completed. The engine has been pushed back and the car has suffered damage to the shell, one of the front legs has been moved considerably, the other not so bad. The windshield has not cracked but there is damage to the scuttle and firewa...ll. The doors have been pushed back by the fenders – this Car will require much work. That being said…………………… please read on! This car was in show winning condition six months ago, purchased for approx $82,000 it then had around $45,000 lavished on it upgrading the braking system, performance enhancements, wheels and many other items. The owner wanted a “Resto Mod” B Body and decided to use a Real M Code car as opposed to a replica donor vehicle. Some of the images included show works being carried out on the car pre-accident – these are where the car had custom exhausts fabricated and made to exit through the rear quarters. Full Air Ride Technologies Suspension with extra bracing and 4 link set up, steering received tubular arms and uprated bushes. The Braking system is by “Baer”, the fronts have 14” Rotors with 6 piston calipers, the rear having 13” with 6 piston calipers. The wheel combination gives this car an aggressive stance, 18” up front and 20’s in the rear – these are custom one off rims cut just for this car made by Chris Coddington in California and were NOT CHEAP. The motor has been breathed on, cammed with a nice set of headers (TCi we believe). A Full Nitrous Oxide System has been added, this is not a crude plate kit but a top of the line NOS Fogger System which is just incredible to look at as its matted to the original 3x2 Holley Carbs (6-Pack) through its factory Edelbrock inlet. After market a/c has been added also, the car still retains its Heavy-Duty Dana 60 rear end as per its factory specification. The interior gauges have been upgraded to modern counterparts and are LED back lit, they feature their own set of parameters including 0-60 MPH and also Quarter Mile Timing. Interior is in great shape still retaining its bench seat, all upholstery in great condition as is the headliner. The underside of the car is finished in body color paint and you could eat your dinner of it, a very cared for car this prior to its incident. Custom install in the rear for the air tank and solenoids with one of the factory “Cop Steal” wheels for the spare, and keeping that company is a 14lbs “NOS” Nitrous bottle. Upon completion of this vehicle we were informed the car covered break in miles only, very little use then an incident which caused the damage before you. This car as a standard A12 M Code car in good condition would be north of $80,000, this car could fall into this category again with work. That being said you would yield a substantial amount of monies back from the sale of the aftermarket parts fitted to it before you even laid a wrench on it. With today’s technology, you could make this tub go again on a modern frame machine, or if you had a clean donor vehicle that would also work. So, there we have it, a real M code 440-6 Pack Super Bee with some incredible upgrades, an opportunity to save not only a piece of Mopar Muscle/History but also to make yourself some good monies at the same time! This is a piece of automotive history that we feel should be saved, any questions please reach out and contact us, we will assist you in any way we can. THIS VEHICLE IS SUPPLIED WITH A CLEAR TEXAS TITLE. WE WILL SELL THIS CAR GLOBALLY, we can help with transport and shipping, please drop us a line with any questions we are ready to help.
