Description of 1963 Dodge Polara Base |
Hey here all you Mopar fans! What we have here is a very solid 1963 Dodge Polara 2 door Coupe. These are getting extremely rare. This is probably the only one on eBay right now, because I couldn't find one when I was searching. This car has spent it's entire life in California and is currently registered, with the title in my name. It has the original, numbers matching motor in it, which is a Poly 318 2-barrel with a 727 torque flight transmission. My original plan was to put a big block or HEMI in the car, but the motor was so good I couldn't find time or money to pull it out. It does have the push button shifter transmission and it works well. If the car sits for a long time, there is a drip under the transmission. I spent a lot of time and money on making it look very nice. It has a year old paint job, and a refurbished interior. There is a new headliner, recovered seats, new door panels, and new carpet. The instrument cluster is in nice shape. All the gauges work and the fuel tank has a new float on it. It has Crager SS wheels on it with new tires, and it has an 8 3/4" rear end, with air shocks in the rear. The chrome and trim is all nice, and there are new door handles and weatherstripping all around it. The grille is in nice shape, and all the lights are in working order. I do have an extra set of taillights that go with the car. The trunk has been sprayed with a U-POL Bedliner, matching the car well. Car does come with a spare tire in the trunk. The exhaust system looks original, and the car is extremely solid and rust-free, with original floor pans. The paint is in good shape overall, although there are a few minor chips and scratches here and there. It is a basecoat clearcoat paint job in Candy Red. This car drives well, goes straight down the road. It is for sale locally and may sell early. If you want to buy it now, shoot me an offer. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, although I will help get it to a shipping yard. This is a 54 year old car. I tried to describe the car to the best of my ability, but there may be something I missed. If you're in the area, feel free to come by a take a test drive. I'm in San Diego, and if you're interested or have any questions, you can give me a call at (619) 206 2500. My name is Paul. Additional Images Here |
