Description of 1975 Dodge Dart Swinger |
1975 DODGE DART SWINGER THIS IS A RUNNING AND DRIVING VEHICLE, HAS A 6CYL 3.7 LITER 225 MOTOR THAT RUNS QUIET WITH NO LEAKS. THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTH. THE CAR HAS 50,489 MILES (VERIFIED WITH MOTOR VEHICLES). THE CAR IS CURRENTLY REGISTERED AND INSURED AND IS DRIVEN OCCASIONALLY. I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR A LITTLE MORE THAN 3 YEARS. THE CAR IS NOT PERFECT, BUT I WILL DESCRIBE EVERYTHING I KNOW BELOW. EXTERIOR: THE CAR WAS REPAINTED THE ORIGINAL COLOR BEFORE I PURCHASED IT, THE PAINT IS VERY PRESENTABLE BUT HAS SOME BLEMISH SPOTS ON THE ROOF AND WHEEL WELLS (SEE PICS). THE FRONT BUMPER AND REAR BUMPER HAVE SOME PITTING OF THE CHROME, AND SOME RUST ON THE FRONT BUMPERETTE. THE CHROME WINDOW TRIM AND BODY TRIM IS IN THE TRUNK. THE FRONT DRIVER FRAME RAIL WAS REPLACED DUE TO RUST, A NEW ONE WAS WELDED IN(SEE PICS). INTERIOR: THE SEATS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION, THE HEADLINER HAS SOME TEARS. NOT BAD THOUGH. THE FLOOR PANS WERE REPLACED BEFORE I PURCHASED THE CAR, AND THE FRONT CARPET WAS CUT OUT, I'VE NEVER REPLACED IT. THE TRUNK HAS SOME HOLES. A NEW TRUNK PAN IS RECOMMENDED. MOTOR: THIS CAR ORIGINALLY HAD AC, PREVIOUS OWNER REMOVED ALL OF THE AC EQUIPMENT. BASICALLY THIS IS A GREAT RUNNING AND DRIVING PROJECT CAR. I AM SELLING THIS CAR TO BUY A 1950'S OR 60'S CAR SO IM OPEN TO TRADES. NEW PARTS I'VE INSTALLED IN THE LAST 3 YEARS (4) NEW SHOCKS (2 SUMMERS AGO) NEW BATTERY THIS MONTH NEW ALTERNATOR (2 SUMMERS AGO) NEW FRONT BRAKE PADS (LAST SUMMER) Here is a link to a video of the car being driven on the highway this weekend: https://youtu.be/vuB9SK5mWbU |
