This is a 1939 Dodge truck that was a county owned and used as a service truck. Originally Orange, it is very straight, and it retains most of it's original sheetmetal, the exception is the drivers door was replaced. The engine is in excellent condition. It was totally rebuilt many years ago but has had very little use. It has an engine mounted rotary air compressor that works, an air tank (last picture) that is mounted to the frame, and a dash mounted pressure gauge, you can even paint or use power tools with it. This truck has been in the same family since the early 1960s it runs good and carries a good load. As the pictures show, the truck has almost no rust, it has been in California its entire life has never been subject to salted roads. The only rust on the truck is the one small hole in the cab, and that is pictured with a quarter next to it for a good reference. The rear end was change and a Jeep differential and drive line were installed. (the drive line is too short) Unfortunately the gas tank is missing and the glass bowel for the fuel pump, also there are no rear brakes, the truck was parked for a few years, so it will need some attention before you can start it. I have a clear California title, and the truck has been non-oped, so there is no registration due, only a transfer fee. The truck comes with a brand new 6v battery.
