1927 Dodge Brothers Panel Delivery Truck

For your consideration, we have a 1927 Dodge Brothers panel truck in very complete condition with the ability to roll and stop. The Dodge Brothers company had a very short run of only 11 years and the Dodge trucks were even more rare as they were only produced from 1924 to 1927, making this 1927 Dodge panel truck a true collectible.

This 3/4-ton truck features the original Dodge fast 4-cylinder flathead engine with a 3-speed manual transmission, beautiful wooden bed and wooden side paneling interior, and original wooden-spoke wheels. This panel truck has been kept very complete with original gauges, Dodge Brothers crested light fixtures, and steering wheel. It is missing its passenger side rear view mirror, and the top half of the very unique dual glass windshield. Though this truck does not currently run, the engine is complete and can be brought back to running and driving condition. Also, the mechanical brakes are functional.

The interior is quite nice, the wood is in great shape and the interior upholstery throughout is surprisingly nice leading me to believe it had to have been refurbished at some point. The front seat is good with some wear and tear, but overall it looks to be in great shape. The exterior is not original in color and needs some TLC as you can see from the pictures, however it is structurally very sound. The sale of this Dodge Brothers panel truck comes with some extra parts that are currently not attached such as door handles, miscellaneous body panels, and a spare wooden steering wheel.

This is a rare example with only a few known of this year and model left in existence. A great iconic truck to restore and add to any collection. Reasonable offers welcomed.
