We are going to try this ONE time. If we don't get what we want for the truck, which WILL be the starting bid, we will just keep it. DO NOT ASK, WE WILL NOT PART IT OUT! With the exception of the tailgate, a few dents and scratches, and a replacement rear bumper, the truck is in exceptionally rust free condition. It will make an extremely easy restoration/street rod project. Now to the basics: The Dakota is a SE model which includes the rubber strip in the middle of the front bumper, and the accessory moldings to match. A few of the moldings have been removed (due to the glue letting loose), but that wasn't an issue with me. I originally bought the truck to perform a V-8 engine swap, touch up the body where needed, and repaint it, but we just don't have the resources to finish what I wanted to do. It is equipped with the Throttle Body Injection V-6 (3.9 l.), and has adequate power for most the jobs I used it for (but towing wasn't one of them). It has right around 150K miles on it. It also has the automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, cruise control, air conditioning (not working but there), factory 15"X6" alloy rims with BRAND-NEW P225/70R15 tires, cloth full-length bench seat (covered), and the SE silver-trimmed dash panels. I looked very long & hard to find a rust free body, and this one is the absolute best I could find. It has 2 holes in the top rocker panels under the doors where I assume undercoating was sprayed into the rockers. The drivers side has one small rust spot towards the rear of opening. The drivers side rear quarter has a small dent area that also has some surface rust on it, but that's it for the body. Of course the tailgate isn't as rust free as the rest of the body, but I had plans of buying a new one through Ebay (about $150 delivered). The rear bumper is a brand new replacement, which I also had plans of painting it the new body color. The two pictures of the doors show there is absolutely no rust in the seams of them, and the last two pictures are of the under side of the cab & frame rails. You can see that the bottom of the cab looks almost as good as the sides of the truck. This is one solid truck! With that, pick up or delivery of the truck will be the buyers responsibility. Paypal or cash only!
