1946 Dodge Extreme Custom Rat Rod Not another one like it anywhere!! Being offered is an awesome 1946 Dodge custom rat rod, this truck was hand built and has details throughout that make it stand out in the crowd. This vehicle has been chopped 4 1/2", channeled 4", and sectioned 5 1/2" which has created a one of a kind custom vehicle. This vehicle has the definite look of a rat rod but is more like a street rod when it comes to quality and attention to detail. Interior Highlights The interior of this vehicle is full of details from the black bucket seats. The dash is color keyed to the body and has a full compliment of AutoMeter gauges including speedometer, odometer, water temperature, battery voltage, and oil pressure. The vehicle has a Iddit tilt steering column with billet shifter, tilt arm, and turn signal indicator wand. There is no headliner in the vehicle. Overall the interior is in great shape and has a nostalgic feel. Exterior Highlights The vehicle started out as a 1946 Dodge 130 pick up, it was chopped, channeled, and sectioned to create the one of a kind vehicle you see in the pictures. There are numerous details on the truck that were hand crafted including the custom visor, frenched in tail lights and license plate holder. The truck bed had to be narrowed to accomodate the massive rear tires. The paint on the vehicle is new John Deere Blitz Black with old school pin stripes. The bed of the truck and is very sharp with custom African Paduk hardwood with stainless strips. The vehicle has less than 300 test miles since the build was completed. Mechanical Highlights It is powered by a new Chevy 383 Stroker V8 engine, dynoed at 550hp. Scat crank, Pro Comp aluminum heads, Dart block, H beam rods, roller cam and rockers, build sheet to go with vehicle, to much to list. The vehicle is equipped with an Offenhauser Aluminum dual Quad intake with two matched 500 CFM Carter competition series 4-Barrel Carbs, and a dual snorkel air mechanically actuated air intake.The vehicle has a Dynamic racing street strip 350 Turbo automatic transmission, with trans cooler. The vehicle has a Ford 9" rear end with new bearings and 4:10 gears with posi-traction. New aluminum radiator, with automatic electric fan. The vehicle is sitting on a hand built custom frame. The front suspension is coil over mustang 2, with disc brakes. The vehicle has been fitted with a custom made 19 gallon fuel cell.
