On Aug-16-17 at 11:25:16 PDT, seller added the following information:

I MADE SOME ERROR IN THE LISTING, IN 1971 DODGE DID NOT MAKE A "R/T" MODEL CONVERTIBLE, THIS ONE HAS ALL THE STUFF YOU MAY FIND ON ONE, BUT NOT OFFICIAL FROM MOPAR.
I ALSO UNCOVERED SOME INFO ON PRODUCTION NUMBERS, I'M TOLD THAT ONLY 260+OR- UNITS BUILT WITH THE 340 AND CONVERTIBLE, AND PROBABLY ONLY 20% MAY HAVE SURVIVED TO DATE, SO IT MAKES THIS ONE A RARE CAR AND PROBABLY ONE OF A FEW LEFT IN GOOD CONDITION.
I GUESS IF THIS WAS JUST FOUND IN A BARN COVERED WITH CHICKEN POOP AND A HOME FOR RODENTS, IT WOULD BE WORTH MORE IN TODAY'S MARKET, MAKES NO SENSE TO ME TO BUILD ONE FROM PROJECT STATUS. GUESS THAT'S HOW SOME FOLKS LIKE TO WORK. THERE WAS A SHELL AT THE NATS PRICED AT 35K, NO DRIVE LINE ETC.
THANKS, BOB
