Description of 1969 Dodge Charger |
I have for sale my 1969 Dodge Charger project car. This car is originally a 383 Magnum (H-code), 4-speed car in A4 Silver paint which is extremely uncommon. It was equipment with 3 speaker dash, 8-track stereo and rear window defrost. So, a very cool car! The original 383 HP motor and 4-speed transmission are long gone however the car does currently have a steel crank 440 with automatic transmission sitting in the engine bay. The engine is clean and has a shiny hemi orange paint job but does not run and should be torn down and inspected to see if it needs to be rebuilt. The transmission is an old 727 out of a truck and is really just in there to hold up the motor. The car is largely complete with most major components present. I would estimate it at approximately 90% complete with the most notable parts absent being clutch pedal assembly and some misc trim. The glass is all present minus the windshield. I would strongly encourage anyone interested in this car to look at the over 1000 pics available at the photobucket link below. There are pics detailing every phase of the restoration thus far. This car has had a tremendous amount of work done to it and it has all been done to a very high standard. It has been on a rotisserie for stripping, sand blasting and rust repair. This car was a solid car to begin with, but it has had both quarter-panels replaced as well as the front floor pans. In addition, body work is mostly complete on the unibody portion of the car. The doors, fenders and hood are nice straight pieces and will be easy to prep for paint. The car has been shot with black primer to stabilize it and prevent any surface rust. At the photobucket site, you will find over 1000 pics of this car with multiple pics of just about every square inch of the car. The wheels and tires on the car ARE NOT INCLUDED in this auction. It will be sold with a set of roller wheels and tires that will hold air well enough for transport. The car will roll and steer. I have a clean and clear Oklahoma title for this car in my name. Please, look at all the provided pics at the link below before bidding. The pics are very representative of the cars condition. Please, ask all questions prior to bidding. Thank you. ZERO (0) FEEDBACK AND NON-U.S. BIDDERS: If you are a zero (0) feedback bidder or a non-U.S. bidder you MUST contact me before bidding. I will cancel the bid of any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder that does not contact me prior to bidding. I will require any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder to provide me with a verifiable physical address and contact information prior to bidding. I realize we were all zero feedback bidders at some point, but unfortunately zero feedback bidders are often also non-paying bidders on automobile auctions. BIDDER CONFIDENCE: I strive for the most transparent auction possible. As a bidder, you can be confident that the vehicle you are bidding on is described to the best of my ability. I am always happy to provide any perspective bidder my contact information if they wish to speak directly with me on the telephone about the vehicle. If within driving distance, a perspective bidder is welcome to come see the car in person prior to bidding. I am happy and willing to take any reasonable actions (i.e. additional pictures, telephone conversation, in-person viewing of car prior to conclusion of the auction, etc.) to give the bidder confidence that the vehicle being auctioned is indeed in my possession, for sale, and has been described as accurately as I am able. I will conduct myself in a professional manner throughout the auction process and I will be a prompt communicator via email, telephone or text message. |
