Description of 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T

Wow, offered for sale is a fully restored and real "WS23L" 1968 Dodge Coronet RT with a 440 C.I. 375 HPSix-Pack (3 x 2 BBL) Magnumengine, floor console 3-speed 727 TorqueFlight automatic transmission, 3:23 rear-end, black bucket seats, and presented in stunning "Triple Black" (black exterior, black vinyl top, and black interior).
The car was fully restored in 2007, which featured a color change from JJ1 to a stunning BB1 black paint job that is still in excellent, mirror-like, show winning condition today. The restoration featured a complete rebuild of the 440 C.I. engine that included the replacement of the 4 BBL carburetor with a Holley Six-Pack (3 x 2 BBL).
The body is dent and rust free, and the paint is stunning and rich, and in great show car condition. The engine starts easily, runs very strong, does not overheat, and is very clean. Both the engine compartment and undercarriage are clean and in great shape. The interior of the car is like new. The floor boards and trunk are clean and solid, and the suspension is tight and firm. This torque monster is a fun car to drive!
The wheels have been replaced with beautifully chromed Cragar SS wheels, with larger P255/60R15 radial tires in the rear, and P225/60R15 radial tires in the front....very cool look!
The odometer reads 14,695, so have to believe not actual miles.
The original mag wheels (in great shape), head intake, 4 BBL carburetor, and 440 Magnum air cleaner assembly are available for sale separately. Additionally, if the buyer of the car should want to register the car in MI, the date correct RT-nnnn license plate is also available for sale separate from the sale of the car.
This great MOPAR has won many car shows and remains in show quality today. Documentation includes the original window stick, the original title from original owner in VA, pictures of the engine rebuild, and many receipts.
The car is located in Mecosta, MI, which is an hour northeast of the Grand Rapids, MI airport. The car will be available for inspection on August 31st and September 1st.
Please call Paul at 248-573-5013 if you have any questions. Thank you! MOPAR!
