Description of 1958 Dodge G80

1958 Dodge D100 V8 NOTE: Model G80 is in the Ebay template and I could not seem to delete it?

This auction is for a classic TIME CAPSULE 1958 Dodge D100. It spent it's life on a ranch in Cheyenne, WY and is as rust free as you ever will find! That means the cab corners are solid as a rock, etc. No sheet metal repairs are necessary, other than a small dent or two, see the pictures. This truck has the RARE radio option! I'm a senior citizen, and the only reason for selling is to start downsizing my stuff, in preparation to moving.

  • It comes with the original Bill of Sale, some other original papers, a shop manual, and receipts for work that I have done.
  • This is a RUNNING, DRIVING truck, with a clear Nebraska title in my name.
  • Transmission is 4 speed on the floor - truck runs up to highway speed in a flash! Second gear to third and you can easy hit 65 MPH, quickly!

Major REPAIRS that I have made:

  • Mileage note: I cannot verify if mileage is original, but it would not surprise me.

  • RADIATOR: re-core and kept the original MOPAR tank. $450 Block and cooling system flushed clean.

  • BRAKES: Replaced everything, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, shoes, seals, drums turned. Over $600
  • KING PINS: Newly rebuilt

TIRES: All 5 tires are new, less than 200 miles on them.

  • CARBURETOR: Cleaned and rebuilt
  • New plugs, wires, and points
  • New water pump
  • New valve cover gaskets

TO DO LIST:

  • Needs new exhaust system
  • Front end alignment

NOTE: Someone did a ranch style repair on the RIGHT side shock tower, original tower had been replaced with home made iron - it appears to be properly aligned, just want this issue noted.

I'm sure I have missed something, so I will post answers to any questions for all to see.
