Description of 1968 Dodge A108 Van |
1968 Dodge A-108 sportsman with factory V8 and automatic. Solid old van. Hard to find in this shape. Drive it home. Rebuilt 318 and 727 automatic with only a few thousand miles (have receipts). Runs and drives great. Edelbrock 1406 carb with performer intake and custom dual exhaust. All work was professionally and tastefully done. Trans rebuilt with a trans-go shift kit for crisp shifts. Front end has a bit of play but it still drives down the road well. Brakes work good. All of the gauges work. Overall, this a great driving example of a 1960s van. Body is in decent shape. Paint is older and in fair shape. The blue and white paint scheme is not the original. This van was originally light green. Body shows signs of previous bodywork all over. If you are super fussy about the bodywork on your cars then this van is not for you. The van has very, very little rust. There is one spot below the passenger front door **pictured** and few random spots with small amounts of surface rust coming through in spots where the paint peeled off **pictured.** The front floor pans had some very small pinholes and the previous owner decided to lay some fiberglass over the top, then paint **pictured.** It was done well and feels solid. The rest of the floors throughout the van are solid. All the glass is good but the windshield does have some light haze around the edges. This van has the full pop-out window package (6 windows). Front seats are in decent shape. Rear bench is not original but useable and easily removed. The interior floor and bulkheads have been painted black. Has a am/fm/cd player which works. Wipers, lights, heater work. Has a custom made 2" receiver hitch. Has been upgraded to 15" Mopar wheels with hubcaps and beauty rings. Good matched set of tires (215-75-15s). Has a functioning passenger side step. This van was originally from California with only a few owners in the past. I have a thick folder full of receipts going back to 1971. Clear Oregon title. The speedometer and odometer both work however the original mileage is unknown. It currently reads 15,465. It is likely between 115k or 215k. Sold as-is, where-is with no warranty written, expressed or implied. It is the buyer's responsibility to do all necessary due diligence before bidding. Bidders without at least 10 positive feedbacks will need to contact me before bidding otherwise bids will be promptly canceled and bidders will subsequently be blocked. $500 deposit required via PayPal within the first 24 hours of auction close and full payment required within 7 days. I will accept cash in hand at pick-up or a cashier's check mailed in advance. This van will not leave my property until I have received all of the funds. I have been an eBay member for over 10 years and have a 100% positive feedback rating mostly as a seller. Please bid with confidence. |
