Description of 1966 Dodge Charger Coupe |
This Charger had the engine and transmission rebuilt. so numbers should be still matching. Almost immediately after they were rebuilt (1992). the owner passed away and his wife parked the car. I purchased the car in May of this year. and began bringing it back to life. I had the 4-barrel carb rebuilt; new tires; new fluids; fuel tank sending unit; new battery; new front windshield. I purchased. and am including loaded loose in the car. the gasket for the rear windshield. the new glove box. and the new tail lights (yes. they were expensive). I bought the taillights while I could find them. and planned on putting them on once the body and paint work were done. The interior needs replacing. and the car. overall. needs some TLC. It runs well. and passes the Virginia (required) State Safety Inspection. I had performed: New thermostat. New V belt. new starter. fuel leak repaired. brakes adjusted. new master cylinder. new voltage regulator. new fuel pump. rim repair. wiper blades replaced. power steering hose replaced. starter solenoid replaced. tune up. This car is very sound and needs some expertise above the level that I am committed to performing right now. If you look at the 1966 years on EBay right now. you'll see that I have four (4) in total for sale right now. It's just time to slow down a little and let the younger crowd take these to the next level. Email me with any questions. |
