Description of 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T |
Here we have a Rare find in that it is a original 1967 Dodge coronet R/T with a factory four speed and it has its original numbers matching 440 / 375 HP. Motor and a Dana 60 Rear End with 3.54 gears WOW When I was a young fellow I always wanted one of these cars with a four speed when my Dad had a Chrysler Dodge Plymouth Dealership But one problem was that I did;nt get my drivers license till 1972 and they only made 1,355 with four speeds so they were hard to find and now they are even harder to find that are (REAL) like this one. It is believe to have the actual miles it is being sold exempt. This car has had one repaint in its original color 881 Blue and this has been some time ago not sure when it was painted they done it like the factory did with a no buff paint job that has that factory loo, The car has its original interior I believe the head liner has been changed at some time but the seats carpet door panels dash are all original all the glass is original with aftermarket tint this car has its original seat belts that is rare. All the gauge, light, horn, turn signals, work. The steering wheel has been changed from the horn ring type to a factory wood look wheel, Original console . The car has had some new mufflers and tailpipes installed with in the last 100 miles and a tune u, The car had been setting for some time in a gentleman's collection and some personal things come up and needed to sell a few of his cars As you can see from the pics this is a real solid car the undercarrige is very solid with no rusted floor pans or rust holes anywhere and no undercoat the only rust that I know of there is a few small pimples on the left lower quarter panel behind the wheel opening, and on the lower front bottom right door very small you can see the pics. This car comes with a full visual inspection by Galen V. Govier with photos in this inspection Galen states that the transmission is date coded to early to be the original one it is dated August 1966 this car was built in april of 1967 Iwould have thought it could have been on the shelf but I am not a authority on mopars . I also have the original window sticker that came on the car and the original build sheet ! The original folder for the car papers with the original owners name. This car has some ptting on some of the original chrone the bumpers have been rechromed at one time. I have the original hub caps and the am radio also have a good used dash panel for it so you can put the am radio back in the car. This car runs and drives great and the clutch and transmission shifts great. Everything works like it should, All the Gauges work good & Speedo So if your looking for a Nice Original Rare Mopar then this is the one !! THEIR ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE !!
