1968 Dodge Polara Convertible with the original 383 V8. This is a complete running and driving Dodge Convertible, but it needs to be restored. Please look closely at all ofthe photos. The Dodge had been sitting for over eight years. With a good battery, and some fuel system cleaning, it started up. I had to add transmission fluid, power steering fluid and oil, before it was driven. I have only driven the Dodge short distances. I have a clear Utah title in my name and the keys. The car has the original 383 V8 engine and transmission. It has good tires and all four original hubcaps are in good condition. The floors, trunk pan, and frame are in very good condition. The price for this complete, running, 1968 Polara is only $3500 or OBO. I want the new owner to know exactly what they are getting. With this in mind, I will list the positive aspects of my Dodge and then the negatives: The good: 1. It is a very complete car. The engine runs, and the car moves under its own power. 2. The doors, trunk, and hood open and close properly. 3. All of the glass is in place with no cracks, and there are extra power window mechanisms that come with the car. 4. The lights work and the power top motor runs. (I have not tried to put the top down.) The negatives: 1. The body has rust issues in the rear, lower, fenders. The passenger's side door is damaged, but the Dodge comes with an excellent replacement passenger's side door. The opens and closes properly, and the latch works good, but the hood needs to be aligned. 3. Theinterior needs a complete restoration. The Dodge was parked forseveral years and is dusty. The dash pad needs to bereplaced. 4. The engine runs and moves the Dodge, but needs to be rebuilt. All of the spare parts fit in the large trunk, along with the spare tire and original jack.
