This is a two owner 1970 Dodge D200 Camper Special that was originally a high optioned truck with the big block 383, factory AC and factory buddy bucket seats. I bought this truck years ago from someone who just bought it from the original owner so that technically makes me the third owner but the second owner only had it for a few weeks. I bought it because I was restoring a 1970 short bed truck and I wanted the seat and the AC out of this truck for my short bed truck. I did use the seat but never used the AC so I still have the factory AC components that will go with this truck including the AC dash which I never used, should the new owner want it. I replaced the seat with a factory Dodge seat out of my short bed truck. I kept this truck to use around my house and to take trips to the dump. It runs and drives like you would expect a 48 year old truck to run and drive. It is a beast and has tons of torque. It doesn't leak any oil and it does run strong. The tires are old but still have good tread and have served me well for my purposes but I wouldn't recommend any long drives with them. When it's cold the gears grind some in first and second but as the truck warms up it drives much better and shifts much better. The paint is all original and the body is in very good shape. You'll notice some surface rust spots on the truck from where the paint was scratched or wore out but there is no heavy rust on the body other than the driver's rocker panel and the floors have the typical Dodge rust problem and will need some work but I've seen a lot worse. It's a great truck to restore or just to use like I have as a workhorse. The reserve is low so bid to win. I'm selling it because I rarely drive this truck anymore and I have several other's besides this one. I require a $500 deposit due within 24 hours of the end of the auction with the balance due within 7 days of the auction end. If you have any questions about the truck please ask prior to bidding. The truck is sold as is with no warranties implied or expressed. Check my feedback and the pictures and bid with confidence. Good luck! I also have lots of parts for these Dodge trucks so if you need any parts ask away. Sorry about the one picture that was upside down, tried to correct it but it wouldn't correct.
