Description of 1985 Dodge Ram Van B250
Up for sale is my beloved Dodge Adventure Van!
I've owned this van for just over a year, and built out the interior to travel around the American West this last spring/summer/fall. I've driven her from Denver to Mesa Verde; from the Mojave Desert to the Los Angeles freeways; through the Valley of Fire, Zion, Capitol Reef, Goblin Valley, and many other iconic sights. Recently, I've decided to move to the city and settle down, forcing me to sell many of my toys...the van being the hardest to let go of, so I hope she finds a fun new owner!
She's not the most beautiful on the exterior, but it's what's inside that counts, right? A simple and slightly unfinishedinterior buildout leaves you plenty of room to customize; but also the opportunity to own an awesome ready-to-travel van at the most minimal cost...she'll end up selling for less than the parts and work installed. Did I mention there is little to no rust? Yes; of course she still runs, turns and brakes.

Known Problems/Damage:
  • Rear Driver Corner-Panel Damage (see photo)
  • Passenger Door Misaligned- opens and closes, but gapped incorrectly
  • Front Windows are "very manual" (push down with your hand) - Traditional manual window cranks are included, but not yet installed
  • Some of the driver's gauges are finniky or inoperable. The Speedometer likes to bounce and the Oil sits at zero after startup
  • Windshield crack on passenger side and a handful of nicks
  • "Sweating" Oil leaks at valve cover gaskets (hasn't been problematic)
  • The last third of the exhaust pipe has some leaking welds
  • The original interior window tint has seen better days
  • The exterior paint has been hand-painted over time by the last three owners; while some find it ugly, I find it 'theft-proof'
  • She drives like an older panel van; don't expect a new Mercedes van
