Very rare to see an excellent condition 1961 Dodge Dart Phoenix Convertible. This is one of the nicer ones you will find and highly optioned

Drives great
Original paint color Glacier Blue
Original 318 V8 4 Barrel carb
Three speed push button automatic transmission
Always stored in climate controlled garage
Maintained by professional mechanics
Recent new water pump. New tires. Power steering gear box rebuilt. Front brakes replaced wheel cylinders and brake pads. New radial tires. Less than 500 miles
Assume high mileage car. Speedometer was broken when purchased and replaced. The engine was rebuilt 42000 miles ago. Runs strong. Light smoke sometimes when you start the car.
Interior is three years old for seats and carpet. Fabric is original style for Dodge Phoenix purchased with door panels at SMS Fabrics. The doors panels are 10 years old. The top is 12 years old and in Ok shape meaning it has some wear and the color white has some fading.
Exterior paint 12 years ago. Was soda blasted to bare metal body on frame restoration
Chrome. Many of the chrome parts were replated 16 years ago. Looks very good but does show cosmetic imperfections.
Gauges. All gauges work. Gas gage not calibrated. Empty is at the 1/4 tank mark.Instruments. Horn, turn signals, radio, windshield washer, heater a/c, clock, Working!
Convertible top is a power top Working!

This car overall is very nice to drive and dependable. I’ve always kept up with the mechanics through qualified expert mechanics.Car is not perfect and has its share of small dings scuffs and scratches and is not being represented as a show car but when people see this on the street to them it appears as a restored car. I don’t want to over present this car. It does look great!
