Description of 1969 Dodge Other |
Up for your consideration is my 1969 Dodge A108 Van. Finally getting around to relisting online. It sold back in October of 2013. been playing with it a bit and just now getting it back on the market. This is a Project vehicle. I have owned since 1992. It has a Chrysler 400 big block with less than 30k miles on it. Runs good and can drive. It was painted back in 1999/2000 but then had to sit outside a few year later. The paint is now totally shot with all the clear coat pealing or gone. There is also some minor rust spots bubbling the paint on the lower panel in a few spots. The interior is basically gutted since the sun roof has been leaking for some time. The Sun roof needs to be replaced or repaired it has some silicone that we tried to help it but it just made a mess and didn't help much. It now has the factory seats back in it and a coach from back when it was daily driver. All other interior is gone. The Van does run and drive. It was basically sitting from 2008 to 2013. In the past year I have now installed a new battery. New Radiator that is a 4 row and 3" longer. a new distributor. and now a new 600cfm carburator. The Brakes probably still need some attention. This van has not driven more than 20 miles from my house in over 10 years! I say this cause a lot of people are asking if it will drive out of this state to places far away. I have to say again this is a project I don't know if it can or will drive that kind of distance without more attention to a few things. Many things on this van are 46 years old. Yes most work but not had any stress on them for a long time. So it will run good. it shifts ok. drives and stops currently. The brakes are not perfect but are working and like any project has rattles and noises until its finished. This purchase also includes a bunch of extra and new parts. I have some new rubber seals for windows. some new wiper arms. and parts pulled from wrecking yards that were never installed. There are a bunch of various parts like all the badges and emblems as well. Anything extra I have comes with the van. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks |
