Description of 1973 Dodge Coronet |
This is a factory 9 passenger 1973 Coronet wagon with a 318, automatic transmission, AC, Power Disc Brakes, and Power Steering. Purchased from the 2nd owner who got it from the original owner who drove it up until a few years back. The original owner was born with one leg and drove this thing with no vehicle modifications (The 2nd owner put a different muffler on it however). Garaged it’s whole life, dash is perfect. Front driver seat has some exposed foam but other than that the seats are as perfect as they come. Seems to be all original paint and other than some dings here and there it is a borderline perfect survivor. This time capsule runs excellent and has brand new tires. Original upholstery. Odometer shows 57,171 and I was told this was 157k. The pedal and interior wear supports this, if not I’d believe it only has 57k miles. The car spent its entire life in Knoxville/Oak Ridge Tennessee and we get around 5 days of snow a year so not much rust. Some surface rust is around it but no real structural rust. Comes with Original manuals and most of the emblems which fell off. . Car is located in Knoxville TN. Clean Tennessee Title with my name on it. Call (805) 405-0765 with any questions. I have hundreds of photos I can send over too. $500 deposit required when purchasing. Please contact me before hitting the Buy it Now if you have ANY questions! VIN: WH46G3G143873 MECHANICAL 318 Engine w/ original 2bbl carb Automatic AC / Heat (AC doesn’t work but likely just needs a recharge. Not sure if its on R12 or R134A.) Power DIsc Brakes Power Steering Brand new Tires from firestone with warranty Original wheels/hubcaps E Brake works well Engine bay was wiped down but a deeper cleaning could be done to make it look even better Under Hood insulation looks to be original NEW PARTS Front disc rebuild brakes with new rubber lines Water Pump Thermostat Thermostat housing Fan clutch Plugs Wires Fuel pump Distributor cap Rotor Air filter Tires Radiator Oil change and lube INTERIOR 9 passenger seats fold flat. Middle seat back carpet is more green than the rest which suggests they always had the rearmost seat down. I did not shampoo the carpet at all, this is just as I got them. All original carpet Carpet in missing from some areas where it was old and tearing. You can see the floors are solid in these areas with minimal surface rust. The rear seats look basically perfect. Electric rear window works with the rearmost switch or the switch up front by the driver Factory AM Radio works along with an aftermarket FM radio All lighting works All gauges work (Gas gauge reads lower than actual) Remote mirror works well Key-in and door open Buzzer works Hard perforated Headliner in excellent shape considering its age Dome light works Rear dome light works Front Driver visor interior cardboard is busted Horn works Door and headlight buzzer work Inside trunk release works We are glass rolls down Wipers self park (Passenger wiper doesn’t always work) BODY All original paint Factory roof rack with Wood Trim Vin tag is CLEAN Never painted looking at fender tag Glass is tinted and good. Some dents, mainly on passenger side. Some side trim and half of the wheel lip molding is missing. Door latch shut and open well, almost like new. Driver side Front or rear doors don’t want to open from the outside. This issue started awhile back and I haven’t had it looked at. They still open from the inside fine. I will try to get these fixed while the auction is up. The DODGE emblems on the back are missing the "O". They're also not secured in the car as I just installed them for photos. They'll be given to the new owner for installation. Other emblems come with the car as well Some rust through on a fender as pictured Door jambs are CLEAN Below is the Fender Tag Decoded: WH46: Dodge Coronet,Charger High 9 Passenger Wagon G3G: 318 150HP(net) or 170HP(net) 1-2BBL 8 CYL 1973 St. Louis, MO, USA 143873:Sequence number E44: 318 cid 2 barrel V8 230hp D34: Light Duty Automatic Transmission CF3: Light Green Poly Exterior Color Q2F6: Trim - Unknown, Vinyl Bench Seat, Green JF8: Dark Green Poly Int.
