1955 Fargo C Series Half Ton Short Bed Pickup, very rare truck. Selling withNO RESERVEto the highest bidder. We can assist in arranging shipping to anywhere. Please message us for a shipping quote. It is becoming increasingly unusual to find half ton pickups from the 1950's in unrestored condition. Especially a 1955 Fargo, the first year for the wraparound windshield. Fargo trucks were only sold new in Canada making them much rarer than the more common Dodge examples. This particular truck was found in a barn on a farm where it has sat untouched for almost 30 years. There is very minimal rust mostly confined to a small amount in the front fenders. The cab is very solid. Other than the damaged drivers door and rear fenders it is a very straight truck. These damaged parts could easily be repaired or replaced as they are the same as used by Dodge. The rear window is broken and 2 hubcaps are missing. The original flathead 6 cylinder motor is still present along with the 3 speed manual column shift transmission. The driveshaft is missing though for reasons unknown to me. The interior is as you would expect from an unrestored truck of this era. The seat will obviously need reupholstering. Overall a good solid basis for a unique project. These Fargo trucks are a very rare sight on US roads and it is sure to turn heads and trigger many interesting conversations. Selling with NO RESERVE to the highest bidder. We started heading North to source these vehicles several years ago due to the severe lack of such vehicles in the US in recent times due to our huge car culture. Most American barn finds have long been found and tampered with by several owners yet North of the border there still seems to be an abundance of good solid original vehicles waiting to be brought back to life. We make these great vehicles available to the US market by importing them into the US and providing all required paperwork to acquire a Clear US Title in your own name in your home State. We also specialize insourcing Mercuryand Fargo trucks and have successfully imported and found new homes for dozens of fine original examples. We are passionate about finding the best thatthere is and understand that our customers want to see automobiles that have not been tampered with; the more original, the better. Our inventory is regularly updated, as new finds are unearthed. If there is something specific that you are looking for, then let us know and we'd be happy to see if we can help. The business we conduct is straightforward and honest.
