FOR SALE $15,500 BUY IT NOW...... 1970 DODGE CHALLENGER TRIBUTE PURE BEAST 440 ENGINE AUTO 3:73 SURE GRIP COOL. NEED I SAY MORE THAN 1970 DODGE CHALLENGER 440?????????? This is my buddies car and I don't think he will have it long at this price. Clear / Clean title in hand..... It is a 1970 Dodge Challenger 2 door hard top R/T tribute car. LET'S GET THIS OUT OF THE WAY, It started life as a dark metallic burnt orange 318 - 2 barrel car, but that was in 1970 and it is 2018 so it does not matter what it started life as, it is still a 1970 Dodge Challenger it now sports a monster balanced and blueprinted 440, completely redone with an Eldelbroke Performer 440 intake, Holly Pro 750 carb, Direct Connection Distrbutor, Accel super coil, DC black crinkle aluminum valve covers, headers, 3" exhaust and flowmasters. I don't have all the particulars on the internals of the engine as he got the car this way and they told him it was balanced and blueprinted and over $8500 was spent on the engine build and man does it run and it has to run on high octane aviation fuel or premium with octane booster, it will not run on pump gas!!!!!!!! It has a 2500 stall converter and a built 727 automatic transmission, It has a 3:73 sure grip rear end, this car will brake the tires loose at 25 mph, just mashing the gas pedal, it is bad a$$. It has nice Weld Wheels and good tires. I am not going to sugar coat any thing on this car because it is a 1970 Challenger and it does not need help in the selling factor of the car. This car needs restored, it needs lower quarters, both sides, $116 each, outside wheel lips, both sides $140 each, Center trunk, $240, all 4 foot wells, floor boards $320, front bumper $240, rear bumper $240, gas tank with straps & sending unit, $270, front spoiler $48, rear spoiler, $150, new emblems & decals $340, new dash pad $475, new seat covers $400, new carpet, $160, new console & shifter $699, new headliner, $170, and a new package tray $70. Total is $4334 if you did all the work your self you would have less than $20,000 in a car that would be worth $35,000-$38,000. The 1970 is the most sought after year for the "E" body cars, yes they have sold some 1971 Hemi Cudas for stupid money, but for working men's money 1970 is the year.....Everything is true and factual to the best of my knowledge, Challenger is being sold as is where is with no guarantee and no warranty expressed or implied.$15,500 cash firm Buy It Now Located in Vincennes, Indiana.
