And, with fit good and finish slick, an original vinyl roof was complemented with a white tail stripe. Check the body-matched engine bay and you'll find 528 cubic inches of Hemi legend that, thanks to the power-hungry pros at Morton Illinois' Chenoweth Speed and Machine, twists a massive 668 horsepower into 650 lb./ft. of neck-snapping torque! Behind that mill, an A727 ProRace 3-speed, sourced from Cope Racing Transmissions, spins a powder-coated Strange Dana 60 that's finished with an S-Trac limited-slip differential and Spicer 3.54 gears. That killer drivetrain pushes a Hotchkis Total Vehicle System suspension. A Jones Racing steering pump powers a quality Borgeson gearbox. Stops are provided by green-tinged Viper discs. And all that proven hardware rolls on machined Magnum 500 replicas, which spin a quartet of Toyo Proxes. Open this Charger's solid doors and you'll find a mostly-original cockpit where carefully re-covered buckets meld seamlessly with a stylish, no-nonsense driving environment. In front of those thrones, a monochromatic dash frames rebuilt Rallye gauges. A wood-trimmed console traces a Chrysler Slap Stick shifter. And the driver spins an original Rim Blow Steering Wheel.
