Description of 1969 Dodge Coronet 440 |
For health reasons I am liquidating a lot of my personal collection of cars that I have collected over the years. I am 69 years old and have restored around 30 to 35 cars in my past. As like anything some cars are getting hard to find and their prices are going through the roof and will continue. Back to this car, it is a very solid car but it does need a trunk pan and the lower quarter panel skins. The floors are in great shape with the exception of a few pin holes in the front pans. The complete truck pan can be bought through Parts Geek for $251.00 and shipping is $125.00 so for $375 you have a complete truck pan. There is also some rust on top of the trunk lid above the lights. The skins are reasonably cheap to acquire. One spot on the right hand side of the rocker panel is also shown in the pictures. I have disclosed all the rust on this car in the photos so you can see what needs to be taken care of .All the glass is good with the exception of the front windshield as it has a crack. Windows roll up and down effortlessly. It has a new front seat but it will needs door panels, headliner, and therear seat needs to be redone. Dash and steering wheel are in good shape. This was an air-conditioned, power steering and power brake car and it is all intact. I have two new bumpers that go with the car also. Since it was a Coronet 440 I was going to clone it to a 440 six pack car so I have a 1966 440 375Hp engine that I had rebuilt along with a new 727 transmission with a 3500 stall speed and a 8 3/4 rear end. The motor is brand new including keith black 11:1 pistons, comp cam, heads reworked with double springs, valves, and a new tri power six pack carbs and intake. To many things to list.Everything is new and in boxes so you will see what you are getting and can inspect everything and not just take my word for it. It is all complete with water pump, pulleys, distributor, wires, etc. The complete motor, transmission, and rear end can be purchased for an additional $8000. Read my feed back and you will see I show and explain the car the way it is. I have people interested in the car by itself and the motor but I would like to sell them together. Please email questions or any reasonableoffers. Thanks for looking. Tim 903-530-5086 |
