Description of 1965 Dodge Coronet 500 |
NO RESERVE!!! BID TO WIN!!! RARE OPPORTUNITY!!! Up for sale is my 1965 Dodge Coronet 500 2 door Hard Top. The car is a matching number, factory big block 330 HP 383 car w/ Factory Air Conditioning. The transmission is a 727, 3 speed automatic. She is also equipped with power steering and variable speed wipers. Dodge did not stamp VIN numbers on theirengine blocks until 1968.What proves the engine to be original are the following facts:
This is a fairly rare Mopar. Dodge only built 4,704 Coronet 500s equipped with the 383 in 1965, and most of those were not equipped withfactory A/C. The car has been repainted and the paint and body work are driver quality. There is some fillerin the lower fenders and quarter panels behind thewheels. Some of the chrome could also use attention. The passenger compartment floors and trunk floor are clean and have no rust. **To aid you in negotiating a better price with a transporter, I am also willing to store the car for 30 days, covered in my garage, until you can arrange transport, provided that the car is paid for within 7 days after the auction's end.Generally speaking, the more time you give a transport company to pick up a vehicle, the lower the price they will charge.** This is your opportunity to own a rare, early muscle car that is already weekend-car-show worthy! As I said, she's not perfect, but she can be driven and enjoyed as is, and is definitely a car you will be proud to own! The car goes down the road extremely well, and feels extremely solid. I wouldn't be letting this one go if I didn't need the $$$.
I require that the winning bidder pay a non-refundable deposit of $500 within 24 hours of the auction's end. The remainder is to be paid by certified cashiers check or cash in person. The car will not leave my possession until full payment has cleared. There will be no exceptions. The car is advertised locally and on other sites, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Thanks! |
