UP FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS AGREAT EXAMPLE OF 1968 CALIFORNIA HIGH DESERT RUST FREE DODGE CHARGER. The body on this car was just about as dry as you can find. So we started with a rust free body. All body and paint work was done at one of the best shops in Southern California. The car is wearing all of its original sheet metal with the exception of the hood. The previous owner lost the hood in a move. We bought a New hood from AMD. A perfect fit. The car is painted in PPG Basecoat, clear coat. KK1 Light Turquoise Metalic. A stock color for the 1968 Charger. The car came from the factory with a black vinyl top. I decided not to put the top back on. The new owner can do that if they want. The car is all metal finish, not filled with plastic! We added New chrome bumpers as the originals were showing their age. We installed New wheel lip moldings as well as New door handles. The stainless trim is all in beautiful condition. We bought New Magnum 500 Wheels with knock off centers. We treated the car to New BFG T/A Radial Tires. 275-60-X15 in the rear and 225-60 X 14 in the front. A great look for the car. The Black R/T stripes were PAINTED on, not put on with tape. They are Perfect. The glass is all beautiful with the front windshield and gasket being NEW. The body has all new weather stripping and rubber components. The interior is all New. Carpet, Headliner, door panels, package tray and dash. The guage cluster was all refurbished and includes a factory radio delete plate! The door sill plates are mint. As to the undercarriage, we washed the floor pans and rubbed them down with scotch-brite to factory metal, NO rust. Put a light coat of clear on them so you can see the metal. NOT hidden with paint. We added power assist front disc brakes with all suspension components. The brake system is all new! All new steel lines front to back with new proportional valve, master cylinder, power booster, rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes. The exhaust system is all new, front to back with TTi 2 1/2 inch Mandrill bent tube. Dyno-Max mufflers and HP 440 Magnum exhaust manifolds. Good to 525 Horsepower. The fuel system is also New front to back.That's from the carb to the gas cap. Hard line, soft lines, new stainless fuel tank and sending unit. Everything done in 3/8 line. The cooling system is also all new. New Aluminum 3 row 26 inch radiator, new upper and lower hoses. Aluminum high volume water pump and aluminum water pump housing.The engine was built by B/RB Specialties in Lemon Grove, California. A company with over 60 years of experience in building Chrysler wedge engines. It is a steel crank 440 HP engine with all the good stuff. It comes with a separate build sheet showing everything. It makes 450 Horsepower on 91 octane gas. As to the transmission, it was built by Mark Russo. A 727 Torqueflite with an 11 inch Hemi converter. Set up perfect for the street. Complete cooling system from radiator back. All new weather stripping, doors, windows, trunk and hood. All new wiring. ( ALL OF IT ) New power assist front disc brake system, all new brake lines, steel and rubber. New fuel system, from stainless steel tank, sending unit to 3/8 inch hard fuel lines to new fuel pump and pump to carb. New BFG T/A steel radials on New Magnum 500 wheels, all New. New Monroe - Matic HD shocks at all 4 corners. If the car sells in the state of Cailfornia, it will come with it's original Black and Yellow plates !
