Description of 1975 Dodge Other Pickups |
Here fresh out of a 22 year storage is my 1975 Dodge D200 extended cab Adventurer pickup. This truck was used in the 80’s and 90’s to pull a challenger race car to and from the race track. The truck is equipped with a 440 and auto trans, though I believe it was originally a 360 4spd. The truck is equipped with factory cruise and had A/C added early in its life. It has a three core radiator and Trans cooler. This truck was built to haul. It does have a LP (propane) gas conversion that could be ran on gasoline or LP. It looks that the propane set up is complete and was top of the line. I have had the truck running with gasoline being poured down the carb, but that’s as far as I have checked. This truck is very clean with only a few minor dents and a little rust over the rear wheel wells. The tail gate on this truck is honestly the nicest gate I have ever seen. I don’t know that there was really anything ever put in the bed. It has the factory AM/FM stereo. It also has a very cool vintage SW tach. There is nothing on this truck newer than 1996. Like I said, it has been in storage for 22 years and therefor it will need maintenance work and tires before being driven. It did have a mouse get into the heater box, but it doesn’t look like there’s any other damage. It does hold coolant and I have had it running. I have left the truck as found to let the next owner decide what to do with it. I do believe the mileage to be accurate as the wear signs on the steering wheel and peddles fit that mileage. That and the fact I know the PO very well. This is the original paint, so you can see what you get. I have all emblems and all trim is there. Very nice vintage built, racecar hauler. I would say it’s fairly close to a survivor. Clear title and original owners manual are present. Truck will need to be trailered. Located near Logan, UT 84321 I can store the truck for up to two weeks time. Buyer is responsible for transport. Sold as is where is. Feel free to contact with any questions. |
