Description of 1982 Dodge Other Pickups Royal SE, Prospector |
1982 Dodge Ram D250 Club Cab, Royal SE, Prospector edition. This running/driving, one-owner truck is being offered for sale for the first time since new for parts only as the title is missing. There are no liens on the vehicle! I purchased this truck from the original owner's family with the intentions of getting a title or parting it out, but simply no longer have the time. The truck does run and yard drive well. I patched one brake line, but they will all need replaced if you plan to drive it on the road. The drivetrain: 318/727 auto with Dana 60 rear end. 8 lug hubs/wheels. Interior: Fairly rare optioned truck with Royal SE, luxury special edition package. Body: Overall solid with some surface rust, mostly on the driver's side rocker panel. This was the last year for the Club Cab until they were reintroduced in 1990. Overall this is a very solid truck with minimal rust for the age. The body would be a great donor for another 1st gen Ram or Cummins truck. Frame and leaf spring mounts all appear to be very solid. The club cab trucks were all equipped with the larger 8" frame, similar to the '92 and '93 Cummins powered trucks. The miles shown on the odometer are believed to be original, but can not be guaranteed or certified. The truck is located in Pleasant Prairie, WI and being sold as is, where is, with no warranty expressed or implied. The truck is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The remainder to be paid in cash or via wire transfer. Funds must be verified before the truck will be released. The balance is due within 7 days and the truck must also be picked up within 7 days. |
