Description of 1973 Dodge Monaco |
| "Torque Monster" is the best description I heard for this beast. Big Block V8. Over 300 foot pounds of torque in an engine mated to a 727 torqueflite transmission. Advertised as a combination of economy and performance. Has a 2 bbl smog engine but could easily be upgraded by adding parts from either a 383 or a 400 such as a 4 bbl carb etc. Does really well around town where I generally baby it. Gets a ton of looks. The person I got it from said it was stored in a barn for a number of years before he got it. |
