Description of 1968 Dodge Charger Clone R/T trim |
1968 Dodge Charger R/T 440 V-8 with a 727transmissionClone. This car was born with a 31, but it was upgraded to the powerful 440 and the R/T treatment was added to bring this car to a much more intimidating ride! Power steering and power brakes. Recently rebuilt the transmission ( $1500) Engine rebuilt 7 years ago and went through the entire brake system recently at a cost of over $2000. Nice black interior with the factory console. Newer wheels and tires and a very shiny exterior that has been clear coated. 53481 on the odometer. Not sure the true mileage of the car. Will include the maintenance records we have on the car. North Carolina title that is free and clear and in my car club members name only. He has to do someserious home repairs so heneeds to sellhis pride and joy to cover the expenses. I will help the new buyer notarize the title and arrange pickup. Car is garage kept. It has some bubbles in the frontright side lower corner that was photographed - see photo in auction. The underside is about as solid as you will ever find. We believe all original floors. The drivers door lock mechanism is intermittently causing some trouble so expect to spend some time figuring out the issue. The door button sticks sometimes. I took all the photos and the video three weeks ago. I have a photo section on our car clubs Facebook page with this car and all the photos I took if you want to check out Down East Rods and Classics. Lots more underneath showing the solid original floor pans and the trunk area. If you bid on the car and come in person and it is not what I represented you can walk away with no strings. So bid to buy. 1968 Dodge Charger - YouTube Video will open in a new window |
