The Chargers have had a lot of fame from TV and Movies and it has made it easily one of the most sought after cars on the market. The one we have for you has had a Rotisserie Resto with a built 383 Engine and 4 Speed Trans. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and driveline of the Dodge. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. The body is arrow straight. This is full body resto. that has had the bumpers as well as other chrome replaced. All the door weather stripping as well as the trunk seal was replaced also. When you look at the glass and stainless it all looks good. The body is covered in the Black base coat clear coat paint that has a deep rich shine and is accented by the New Black Vinyl Top. When you look in the jams. under the hood. and in the trunk you can see they did a nice job. The final exterior touch is the New Coy Wheels that are 18’s up front and 20’s in the back. Next. we will take a look at the interior of the ’69. On the inside it’s all done in black to make for a killer look inside and out. It has the bucket seats with the correct pistol grip shifter for a non-console car. The seats. carpet. and headliner all looks very good. A set of under dash gauges and an aftermarket tach have been added. Finally. we will take a look at the driveline of the Dodge. Under the hood it’s powered by a built 383 with about 500 HP. It has aluminum heads and twin Holley Carbs and is dressed with Black Mopar Valve covers along with Aluminum Pulleys. The ignition is MSD and to keep it cool on hot summer days it has an Electric Fan. The exhaust runs through a set of Coated Headers and Flow Exhaust. The 4 Speed Trans is hooked to an 8 ¾” Rear End. As with a lot of Hot Rods it has standard brakes and steering. The bottom of this Charge looks very good with solid floors and frame rails.
