GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. The Swinger comes in a stunning bright blue paint job complemented by a blue interior. This vehicle is believed to have been restored by a previous owner. Powering the Dart is a rebuilt 225 slant 6 motor that has been bored .40 over. Mated to the 225 is a rebuilt 904 automatic transmission. Additional performance parts include a cam, hooker header, 4-barrel carb, aluminum radiator, transmission cooler, new...plugs, wires, and ignition coil. Don't miss your chance to join in on the Mopar Madness! Please call or email us for more information. Built from 1960 through 1976 the Dart name was originally used by the Italian coachbuilder Ghia. The Dart was introduced as a lower-price, full-sized car in 1960. It quickly became a mid-sized car and then finally a compact car from 1963-1976. 1967 brought the 4th generation, which is arguably the cleanest and sharpest design yet. This generation included revised steering, a complete face-lift, a wider stance and the ability to accept a wider range of engine options including big blocks with the redesigned K-member up front. Curved glass was also used for the first time ever in a Chrysler compact. This addition created a unique appearance at the rear of the Dart. The "Swinger" name was applied to all the Dart two-door hardtops except in the high-line custom series.
