1970 Dodge Coronet 440 Superbee "Clone". I have owned this for the past 6 years. I believe I am the 3rd owner. It is a Numbers matching 67K original mile car. 318 2bbl, automatic, factory A/C, power steering, manual brakes. I spent 2 years restoring it, although, I could have driven it as is when I purchased it. I had it 5 days and took it to the paint shop. I had it stripped and painted back the original color. We started with a rust free template and only had to straighten out a few small dents. Since I was wanting a Superbee look a like, I added the scoops, a gun metal grey vinyl top and phoenix graphics made me a gun metal C-stripe. I had the cop car wheels painted to match the color of the car and put new tires on them. We upgraded the front end with new ball joints, tie rods, idler arm, bushings and rebuilt the steering box. Went through the brakes (Drums) and replaced wheel cylinders, hardware, shoes and turned the drums. Added new shocks also. The heater core leaked so we replaced that and the heater control valve and cable. Had the A/C serviced in 2014. It didn't blow cold last summer, maybe another shot of R-12, not sure. Replaced the windshield, seal and clips, also replaced the seal and clips on back window. Re-chromed the rear bumper, fronts are in great shape. Cleaned the fuel system and fuel tank, replaced the sending unit. I replaced the carpet and front seat upholstery only. The rest of the interior is original and in excellent shape. I have an additional carpet kit still in the box and a new rear seat upholstery still in the box. Also, re-cored the radiator and put dual exhaust with Flowmaster 50 series mufflers. This is a great running and driving car. You will not be disappointed. All lights, turn signals, interior lights, wipers, heater and even the door buzzer works correctly. I put a video on You tube. Look for 1970 Montana Superbee Clone. Give me a call if you would like to know more about the car. 406-781-4495.
