Car was originally purchased from Mr Norm's in Chicago, IL early 1966 by an NHRA ProStock driver's father. Car burned in a garage fire. Sold to a Mr Erickson who turned it into a stock car. Next Jim Zimbo purchased it from Mr Erickson. Jim Zimbo was DQ'd by the dirt track racing association because of the HEMI....following suit by NASCAR with Richard Petty.
The car was parked in 1967 after the passing of Jim Zimbo. The car sat in storage for all these years until just recently, I was able to purchase the car.
