Complete Original 1946 Dodge Cab Over Truck - W-Series - VERY GOOD CONDITION!

As manufacturing had shifted to wartime production during World War 2, Dodge had just resumed civilian production at the end of 1945 for the 1946 model year. Trucks of this year are increasingly difficult to find, especially in good condition. This W-Series truck is truly an icon in Dodge history.Here is your chance to own this classic as the auction will have NO RESERVE!

This truck was near completion of a frame-off restoration when the owner passed away. The cab, fenders, and nose are original paint and are in very good condition for their age! The chassis was powder coated, brake lines and rubber components were replaced, and engine and carburetor were refreshed. The interior paint, gauges and seat are all factory original. Thistruck needs the cab set on and drove to truck shows!!

Engine is factory flathead 251 cubic inch, model T130, inline 6-cylinder gas motor and has recently been started and run.

Transmission is the factory 4-speed manual with a 2-speed axle.

Original 24,607 miles, with (believed to be) the original Goodyear tires.

There are two Carter carburetors (rare), one was recently rebuilt and one was a spare.

The doors shut very easily and the windows roll up and down. The interior vinyl was reupholstered and looks very clean. Please note in the pictures where there are some imperfections on the back of the cab. There is a photo included of its original condition before restoration began.

There is also a 1947 Dodge COE that was used as a parts truck and reference for rebuilding that can be purchased separately, if desired.
