We bought this car in 2006 in Portland Oregon where it was originally bought new. It had no rust and was a completely unmolested complete original and driving car. Our goal was a father son restoration project to take to car shows which we have a room full of trophies from. We wanted original as possible which wasn't hard as it was complete and unmolested. Anything that needed replaced we went with NOS, used original or lastly aftermarket if needed. Motor was original 383 and was tired so we had Southworth (Shop sometimes used by Graveyard cars) build a 100% six pack spec 440. We backed that with the original 727 built also to six pack specs including the Hughes original style converter. Dr Diff complete 3.91 drop in 8-3/4 with Richmond gears and USA made bearings. Paint is ppg single stage Hemi Orange so we could get the proper single stage color as an 1970 original. Car was not originally orange. TTI 2.5" exhaust. Holley 750 carb. Tires are bfg 255s back with 235s up front. Rebuilt power drum brakes on all four corners. Power steering. Had air from factory. Did not keep all the parts as we would go with vintage air if we wanted the air put back and we really did not like the cluttered look under hood. Exterior parts and engine parts painted black were all done with Eastwood's paint. Interior seat covers and door panels are from legendary interiors. Headliner is original with a small spot by bottom corner of sail panel above package tray where it is starting to come apart. Vinyl top is original as I stated earlier this car was in nice shape. Of course all brakes, suspension, anything mechanical etc. was redone or replaced. Please contact 541-350-4550 for any details or questions as we restored this car for us and we are not flippers. The car was done properly and with the highest quality parts as well as being an older restoration it will hold no surprises under the paint.
