This has a flip up screen, Apple car play, navigation thru your i phone, and phone interface, on pop up head unit. The sound system is fantastic.
- Manual locks, windows, Air conditioning works however it does have a leak in the system. The evaporator has been replaced. I have dye in it now. If you give it a charge its good for about 3 weeks. New owner will need to address this.
- Heater core replaced, box resealed.
- The speedometer and odometer do not work. For 1990 Dodge changed from a speedometer cable to an electronic controlled unit. The cluster needs to be rebuilt. Folks rebuild these I spent money in other areas. I wasn't concerned about the odometer as it wasn't working when I purchased it, and I found an electronic speedometer which is very accurate for $15. In that cluster the fuel, volts, and oil pressure all work as they should.
Engine: 5.2 (318) V8 with factory computer (unmodified) and throttle body injection. Runs strong.- I had the intake manifold off to reseal and the valley pan was very clean. I feel the previous owners of this truck changed the oil on schedule.
- Recently replaced - coil, spark plugs, ignition wires, egr valve, alternator, belts, hoses, intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, battery, maintenance performed antifreeze changes, oil changes as needed.
- New fuel sending unit, fuel pump, and filter replaced.
Transmission- Chassis-Drive-train:- 727 Torque Flight 3 speed. I do not know if its original to the truck. It shifts fine and I have not performed any fluid or filter changes for that reason.
- Driveshaft U Joints checked and tight.
- Differential is good, I haven't performed any maintenance and have had no issues with it.
- Brakes have a new master cylinder and power booster. Front and rear brakes have 50% pad and shoe remaining. No pulsations and stops well.
- Rims are factory correct 15x7 refurbished rims and factory hubcaps.
- The truck has 4 newer P235/75R15 Goodyear Wranglers OWL tires.
- Truck has a 2" lift on the front springs and a 2" lift on the rear leaf springs. The truck sits very nice.
- Shocks have no leaks
- Front suspension greased and inspected. All suspension components are tight.
- Has single exhaust with factory catalytic converter, no leaks, I cleaned and painted the manifolds and pipes with high temperature exhaust paint.
- Truck has a 30 gallon fuel tank. Fuel pump was recently replaced and new fuel filter installed.
Driving Impressions:The truck starts, runs, drives and shifts great. Tracks down the road straight and stops great. I'm pretty picky and whatever it needs it gets. This is an above average driver quality truck. It's very nice however I want to stress its not a show truck. It's 29 years old, upkeep and maintenance will be on going. Good luck bidding and thanks very much for your interest!Eric
