1967 Dodge Dart 273 v8 2 door post stock race drag strip barn find no reserve

THIS DODGE BEEN BY OUR HOUSE LONGER THAN WE REMEMBER. IT WAS PARKED BACK IN 1991 FROM THE INSPECTION STICKER AND THE 4 PLY TIRES ON IT. A TRUE LOW MILEAGE CAR. THE TITLE SHOW 43K AND THE CAR HAS 50K ON IT. THE CAR SAT OUTSIDE BUT ON A CONCRETE PAD TILL A LOCAL MECHANIC CAME OVER TO DO A MILD TUNE-UP AND GOT THIS CAR RUNNING. THE DODGE NOW STARTS, DRIVES, STOPS, AND IDLES WITHOUT OVERHEATING ON ITS OWN AND NO EXHAUST LEAK. THE BRAKES COULD LEAK AT ANY TIME FROM A WHEEL CYLINDER OR BRAKE LINE MY MECHANIC SAID SO BE AWARE OF THAT. YES IM SURE THERE IS PLENTY TO DO BUT IT IS ALL ORIGINAL INCLUDING THE ORIGINAL RADIATOR. WE CLEANED OUT MOST OF THE RUINED INTERIOR AND WASHED THE CAR DOWN FROM DECADES OF DIRT. EVEN SINCE THE SUN GOT THE BEST OF THE PAINT THIS CAR STILL SHOWS HOW IT IS A REAL LOW MILEAGE CAR THE OLD 4 PLY TIRES HOLD AIR. THE BODY IS STRAIGHT AND HAS A NICE STANCE WITH THE REAR BEING HIGHER THAN THE FRONT. THE BODY HAS VERY LITTLE RUST. I SEE FOUR SPOTS OF RUST/ROT... THE FRONT LEFT BOTTOM FENDER, SMALL SPOT ON THE REAR DRIVERS SIDE QUARTER PANEL, A SMALL SPOT ON THE RIGHT REAR QUARTER PANEL, AND THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR FROM THE OLD BATTERY BEING ''PROTECTED'' FROM THE COLD. ON LINE THE FRONT FLOOR BOARDS ARE CHEAP TO BUY. THE ENGINE BAY, TRUNK FLOOR, REAR TIRE LIPS, ROCKER PANELS, AND EVERYTHING ELSE IS SOLID. IN MY OPINION THIS IS A REAL SOLID CAR. MY MECHANIC SAID PEOPLE RACE THESE CARS BEING A 2 DOOR AND A POST. THIS IS A STRIP DOWN EVERYTHING DELETE EXCEPT THE V8 MOTOR. PLEASE COME DOWN FOR A LOOK AND THE BEST PRICE OWNS THIS DODGE.
