up for your consideration is my 1972 Challenger with a 1968 426 Hemi... the engine is a super clean 426..it looks like it has never been apart and I was told that it is stock bore.. it came out of a 1969 Charger that a guy ran off the road in 1972.. I pried it from an 'ol boy's hands who had it sitting in his well drilling shop since 1972.. after purchasing it I added black wrinkle coat valve covers and studs, new dipstick, cast iron exhaust manifolds, heat riser tubes, carb linkage, carb springs, carb restoration by Scott Smith of Harms Auto, plugs, date coded wires, wire looms, heater hose bracket, alternator and bracket, fan with clutch, pulleys, coil with bracket, rotor and cap, fuel lines, # 14 Hemi only K Member, paint, complete Shaker hood setup from Shakerhood.com with AMD hood, starter, NOS Lakewood bellhousing, clutch plate, flywheel, and a few other misc. parts... as for the body.. it is in fairly good shape .. floor boards are solid the only rust is in the typical areas.. roof, fenders, trunk, rear end is a 8 3/4 489 casting with 391 Richmond gears and it also has an adjustable pinon snubber, I will let the pictures do the talking for it... if you have any questions or need more detailed pictures.. just ask.. and I will do my best to accommodate you.. I am selling because my doctor told me I need both knees replaced..
