1971 Dodge "Gasser." This truck was originally owned by Mountain Bell in Tucson. Auctioned off in the early 80s, had 2 other owners in Tucson and then I purchased it in 1995. After owning it for 25 years, it has evolved into a gasser. I had a 400 hp sm block, 727 and 3.91s out back. Engine, Trans, Radiator, elec fuel pump and Lokar throttle/trans linkage have been removed. Nothing else from running cond. has been removed. It currently has Camper Special Springs re-arched plus 2, giving this 2×4 about a 4-5 in lift, 7 leaves per corner and poly bushings. Frame was stripped to bare metal, primed, painted and clear coated. Inner fenders, cross member powder coated. Nice custom interior, B&M Megashifter, rubber flooring and clutch pedal still in place. All electrical works, new front brakes. Rancho shocks at all 4 corners. 33×14.50-15 Mickey Thompson's in back, Cordoba Magnums up front. And best of all NO RUST ANYWHERE !!! Included : custom driveshaft ( needs u-joints) trans crossmember, extra steering arm and full sized spare tire for rear. 741 casting 8 3/4 with open 3.91s included and "green" non adj axle bearings. Rebuilt frontend, steered straight at over 100mph. Also included : 1972 steel crank 440 hp shortblock ready to run. No cylinder ridge on top. Unknown specs, 8.2 comp pistons, double roller, everything in the pics plus a pass exit water pump and housing.
