Description of 1970 Dodge Charger 500

The original owner Charles B. purchased this Charger on May 17th, 1970. Being sold brand new at Downey Dodge in Los Angeles, California. The owner who is 81 years old now has kept this car for 50 years and has been the only registeredowner to this date. Remaining in a garage its entirelife, being pampered. Spent its entire life in Los Angeles with the original Blue plates that match the original pink slip.He recently came to the conclusion that is was time to part ways with his beloved Charger due to old age.

Up for auction is this really original, never to have been restored 1970 Dodger Charger 500 Hardtop.Numbers Matching Drive train383 - 2 barrel 727 Automatic with air conditioning& power brakes. The engine has never been modifiedand remains the original Cartier carburetor& even the signalexhaust system.DOCUMENTED One Owner Meaning The original Pink Slip (title) matches the sales contract when purchased new, same owner/address.Repainted once 30 years ago in its Factory color combination - Lime Green Metallic "FF4" with BlackVinylRoof with Black Bucket Interior.All original sheet metal/ body panels. Remains all the original sequencenumbers matching body ( Radiator, quarter lip, fender tag / door tag & body).
Remains in beautiful condition in and out. Alwaysbeen stored in the garage, coveredas the car speaks for itself. The interior is 100% original, the dash has never been cut. Original AM radio still works! Factory Rallye dash & buckets / console.
The Charger is in running & driving. A smooth running piece of machine, mileage proves that 105k. Recently, we had the originalcarburetorrebuilt, emptied old gas & had the fluids changed. The Power steeringwas leaking, so we rebuilt the P/S gearbox. Newer tires was also added. Starts right up when cold, has plenty of power and sounds like a stock 383. The tachometer/clock is not working & also hideaway motor stop working.The floor pans and trunk pan are solid/ original. Keep in mind, this is a Los Angeles car. Never been in any harsh weather, its so clean.
Original jack, tool still in place along with spare rim. Original dealer booklets with the inspection stopping sheet, copy of contract (owner has original). Contract & inspection sheeting verifyingits a True 500.____________________________________________
