Description of 1970 Dodge Challenger

(This listing is for two vehicles)1970 Challenger RT/SE 383 Automatic. Factory Plum Crazy / Black Interior / Sublime StripeCar is almost 100% original - Numbers matching motor/heads/transmission/Drivetrain. Possibly original carb- Missing air cleaner. Motor Turns over freely but has been sitting for a while. completely rebuildable. Interior is all there. including hard to find SE stuff (overhead console. trim. etx. ) but needs redone. Black buckets. console rally gauges. Even has a rare rear window defroster. Sheet metal on the car is SHOT. I'm not even going to pretend it's salvageable. It's an absolute disaster. I know anything can be saved. but. let's be honest. the secret to anything is knowing when to quit. That's why i am including the other body for the restoration. All the 1790 specific parts (rear taillight SE section (specific to SE's) the marker light housings and even the SE door buzzer parts are transferrable and present. that's the good news. I had started to accumulate parts for the restoration. including a NOS rimblow steering wheel. omplete set of NOS emblems. an original set of correct mopar 15x7 Steel wheels and rare redline original caps. and SE rocker moldings. Also have a NIB RT Hood. (Those parts alone are over 3k. )I have 2 broadcast sheets for the car. original fender tag. and clear title. ____The Other car is a 1972 318 Base Challenger that I purchased for the body. which is in EXCELLENT Shape. needs only MINOR bodywork to trunk area. and Maybe a few tiny spots on one quarter. Has a 318 engine core in it with 340 heads-and some misc parts. but is essentially a rolling chassis that i was going to use to restore the 70. by changing the rear taillight section and marker lights. the body is simply in absolutely fantastic shape. Was a southern car it’s whole life. the little bit of rust it has outwardly is surface rust only. as i had to store it outside to work on another project this winter.
