For sale is a 1983 Dodge ARIES with the carburated 2.2 4 cyl. engine and only 43,901 original miles. I bought this car from the original owner with only 28,000 miles on it. I drove the car for about 2 years when unfortunately one day it blew a head gasket. After further tear down it turned out the #1 piston had blown apart. Soon new pistons were installed the heads were machined and tested. NEW radiator, altinator, starter, coi, belts,hoses,plugs,wires,cap/rotor and carb. After getting everything back together I couldn,t seem to get it running right, though I must admit I havn't spent much time on it since.I would probably pull the engine again and go through it. Too many projects! Brakes are good. Great tires. This is a very solid car with some minor surface rust on the body and a small rust hole in the trunk.The interior is still nice with some fading and the non original headliner sags a bit. This car has been sitting for about 3 years so everything will have to be looked over and gas would need to be drained.AS IS. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
