Description of 1973 Dodge Challenger R/T |
1973 Dodge Challenger R/T Tribute- 318ci V8 - American Racing Wheels - Custom Paint Job - Tidy Interior - Here we have an awesome classic that was produced right at the end of the muscle car era as fuel, emissions, and safety regulations were cramping the style of the Big 3's designers. This Challenger does however have the muscle car DNA that many enthusiasts still longed for. This particular car has the same look and feel of the early MOPARs right down to the V8 under the factory cowl hood. Silver metallic accent stripes have been painted on the body, and break up the blue/purple upper body, and the black lower body. Apart from a few custom paint items, the exterior is standard Challenger, just the way Dodge intended it to be. Chrome bumpers, trim, lights, and glass are in nice condition, and the paint has a nice shine to it. The interior is tidy and features black vinyl bucket seats, wood trimmed center console, "Slap Stik" shifter, and sport steering wheel. The 318ci V8 found under the factory louvered hood is mated to a Torqueflite 3 speed transmission. The engine looks pretty standard other than a pair of MOPAR Performance valve covers, a Summit Racing air cleaner, and some custom headers. Power brakes all around with discs up front help slow this classic down. American Racing 5 spoke chrome alloy wheels look the part wrapped in white letter BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. For quite a long time, the muscle car era was gone, but not forgotten. Today, modern muscle cars are rolling out of the Big 3's factories daily, but don't let those modern muscle cars cramp your vintage MOPAR style. Relive the good old days with this Challenger in your garage. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions.
