Description of 1969 Dodge Dart

UP for auction is a complete 440 Super Commando drive line I had assembled for my 1969 Plymouth Valiant 100. the block is a warranty block purchased from Atlas Chrysler Plymouth in Costa Mesa CA For my 1973 Plymouth GTX when the crank broke on the number 3 journal in 1975. this motor was ran for 3000 miles before it was pulled and put in storage in 1984. It was not until last year when I found a 1969 Plymouth Valiant 100 that I decided I would use this drive line for that vehicle. well due to some unfortunate events I will not be able to complete the swap. and that is a shame because this driveline is ready to run. all it will need is the positive and negative coil wires hooked up. oil. and water and it is ready to go. The motor was completely gone through 2 months ago with all new gaskets. rubber seals. new intake. Edelbrock RPM Performer. but have the original that will go with it. carburetor is an extremely rare 735 CFM spread bore Holley that was only available in 1969 for mopar products and it to has just been rebuilt. cam shaft was replaced with a custom ground 269 Isky with a 108 center. timing gear set was just replaced with a Dyna roller billet set. but I have the original mopar double roller that came with the engine. motor has been repainted the Factory Teal Green for the 1969 440 super commando cars and it is show quality. the air cleaner is a factory Mopar single snorkel big block air cleaner that has been modified to mimic the 1970 un silenced air cleaner that was on the Demons and Dusters I am a big fan of that air cleaner. but instead of the black crinkle paint that was on there. this one is painted factory EV1 Hemi Orange base coat clear coat. Everything was centered around dropping this motor into a slant six K member that is the reason you see the lower radiator hose outlet on the passenger side instead of the driver side. if you wish to put this in a regular V8 vehicle that hosing will need to be changed. it cost $50. 00 on ebay. nbsp; if you put it into a slant six car Champion Radiators makes a high performance 4 row radiator 22 inch that works perfect. no modification required. Both Schumacher and Trans Adapt make the engine mounts required to put this motor in a slant six vehicle. Transmission is a 727 Torque Flight that also has the 33000 miles on it but has also just been rebuilt using TCI products. redline clutches and Kevlar bands. and is ready to rock. also will come with an A body cross member bracket to complete the job.
