Description of 1966 Dodge Coronet |
|
1966 Dodge Coronet 383 supercharged, been off the road for some time ( so no your not going to drive it home),but its a great project. Condition is Used.Body is in very solid shape(I took many pics and videos to show the condition) but whenever possible please come view car prior to bidding to satisfy yourself.as I said body panels are all in pretty good shape(no major rust), paint is very old but has great patina.Drivers door could use pins and bushings Unibody is sound. all glass is good, but has a cracked windshield. Trunk floor is in good shape. Chrome and stainless could use some replacement(looks original). Rear tires are a few years old, fronts are very dry rotted(need replace) on magnum 500 wheels. Interior is old but useable or recover, needs a headliner. Carpet looks real good. The engine description Ill give you from previous owner:Fresh 383 dodge, forged TRW pistons and forged crankshaft,balanced,stainless 2.14/1.81 valvesin ported heads with a fresh valve job,summit blower cam, ARP rod bolts, chromoly main studs and pushrods, double roller timing chain, BDS blower hub, aluminum roller rockers, 2 holley boost referenced carbs on a rebuilt Detroit supercharger. transmission is a 727 with a tall stall converter, not sure of rear end gears. Car starts everytime, runs strong,drives and stops,but only been yard driven(not drivin any long distance), but it will definetly burn the tires right of it. Car is open exhaust manifolds,no exhaust, it rattles the neighborhood. This vehicle has a clear and open title from the previous owner, it should make someone a great car to finish,I just haven't got to it in years. Please come and view car whenever possible before bidding,to satisfy your yourself,this probably is not the car you had when you were 18.
