Description of 1967 Dodge Coronet

You might just be looking at the least expensive, coolest, and easiest way to get attention at the survivor shows. This 1967 Dodge Coronet is the kind of car we don't see too often anymore, so for it to be exceptionally original, right down to the paint, means you're looking at a V8 classic barn find with a story to tell.
A classic Mopar like this '67 Coronet is already a desirable machine. It's from those few years when this intermediate-sized sedan had such a wide stance that it really looked like the big boys. And this one has a ton of character, because it's a true barn find. It was stored by one lady for over 20 years in her barn/garage. It was resurrected and overhauled only replacing the components that were needed to make it a confident cruiser. So almost everything you see is believed to be original, including the full trim, factory wheel covers, and big chrome bumpers. Even the 45,700 miles on the odometer is believed to reflect actual mileage. So you have the crisp look of well-fitting panels that show off great details, like sporty kick-up that starts in the rear doors and runs through the rear fender. The gold paint is even believed to be the same that was applied at the St. Louis factory over half a century ago. Today it shows its age, and the price certainly allows for a professional respray, but there are many of us out there that admire the rare enduring spirt of something that is only original once.
The black interior continues this Coronet's originality. You'll slip behind the classic Dodge steering wheel, and this one gives you that instant tingle of nostalgia. You get two wide bench seats that are well-preserved, right down to the intricate trim on the tops. So classic car lovers will be quite happy to go for a ride with you. They'll even marvel at how the door panels, dash, and carpeting all present so nicely today. There are even provisions for nice extras as the AM radio is still on display, and while the air conditioning system is currently disabled, there are many of the major components still in place.
In a sedan this original so far, it's great to see such an honest and correct engine bay. In fact, this 318 cubic-inch V8 shows the right signs of being the original powerplant. But what makes this extra special is that it was also given the right investments to make sure you can drive this survivor. So after it was pulled from the barn, it was given newer pieces, like an aluminum radiator, replacement carburetor, brake lines, battery, a muffler, and more. This all makes for a particularly strong-running survivor. And this Cornet was already built to be good cruiser thanks to the a A727 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes.
This is a real-deal barn find that's has an awesome originality right now, and it's priced to leave the door open to your best Mopar dreams of the future. So you also know how quick you have to be if this preserved Coronet is going into your garage. Call today!!!
