You are bidding on a true 1957 Dodge Sierra D-500. The original hemi is still in place. According to the article "1957-59 Dodge : The Sexy Swept-Wings" by Jeffrey I. Godshall, in the August 1993 issue of Collectible Automobile just 6% of 1957 Dodges were D-500s. An extremely limited number of which were wagons. A rare opportunity to own an extremely early "performance" wagon. This is a true unmolested project car the has been sitting for the past 30 years. The engine is indeed free but have not messed with it further. This car started its life in Santa Monica where it remained until the mid 70s when the last owner relocated to Ohio, where the car sat until 2019. The car does have rust in the quarters, rockers, as well as the floor pans. Section of a tub from a rust free car will be included for the repair of the spare tire compartment. Other original options on the car include, power steering, power brakes, jiffy jet, radio, and most notably the rare HD suspension package which is composed of sway bars and larger brakes. Please message me for any additional photos or questions. This is a project car and is sold as is. Can assist with shipping arrangements at request. Clear Florida title in my name.
