Relisting 1 final time - if it doesn't sell we will not be listing it again at a lower price. Up for sale is a very rare ALL STEEL 1936 Dodge business coupe. I have owned this car for 15 years and always under cover. I purchased it from an individual in Chicago that owned and acquired it in California. Car is teal, a respray before I acquired, and is well worn, fading and chipped. Sheet metal is very straight. Car came with original flathead 6 cylinder engine, 3 speed tranny and rearend. I was told engine had been rebuilt. I ran the drivetrain but wanted something newer. I installed a 1968 dodge 273 with 904 auto and jeep rearend. New driveline was installed. Detailed list includes: alumacraft grill, aluminum radiator specifically made for this model car, disc brake conversion to original tube front axle, battery relocated from under seat to trunk, rear air shocks, modern Monroe front shocks, new rubber running boards that look great, five BFGoodrich radial T/A P215/70R15 on USWheels black/chrome, all glass is good with good rubber, all stainless steel moulding, trunk emblem, really nice ram hood ornament, period heater with 12 volt motor installed, Autometer gauges (speedo/odometer, oil, water, volts, fuel), original bench seat nicely reupholstered in gray fabric with inserts, and more. As well as the original drivetrain, car comes with original grill that will need attention, original powdercoat 16†wheels with whitewall tires. Solid patch panels have been installed under seat. Repair panel under trunk needs finished, but is usable as is. All window garnish, rear view mirror, dome light, vacuum wipers included. Rear bumper is in good condition, front needs rechromed. Front bumper brace is NOS. Great condition horn cover grills. Extremely hard to find front bumper brace bolt covers. Original dash gauge with speedo and some gauges, need attention. And more. I last started this car in March of 2020. On jack-stands and it ran as expected. I am having trouble bleeding the Wilwood dual master cylinder. When I installed it all worked well. I have a bad ground with the speedo sender and the gas gauge, but both worked when installed. Car needs a headliner. $1000's of dollars worth of extra/spare parts. Everything I did to change over to a more modern drivetrain was a bolt-on and can readily be reverted back to original. Really tough to find an 84 year old vehicle in this condition, not all chopped up. Where are you going to get another one? And I know I am forgetting other stuff. Not perfect by any means, but will not take much to be on the road. This is a package deal (original drivetrain and many extra parts MUST go with the car). Therefore, transportation on a trailer is necessary in order to carry the car, original drivetrain and extra parts. Washington title in hand. This vehicle is available locally for sale - seller reserves right to end this listing early if sold. It is sold as-is with no warranty or guarantee either expressed or implied.
