1970 Dodge Challenger Project Car, with original Matching numbers drive train. CLEAN OHIO TITTLE IN OUR NAME. Car was originally an SE model and still has it's original 383 Commando 2 BBL auto, but was converted ( Cosmetically only ) to a 440 Magnum and was used for the Audioslave Video "Show me How To Live". This was a running and driving car ( in need of a full restoration ) before it was driven onto a trailer to the restoration shop, where it was dismantled down to a rolling shell, completely sandblasted, and ONLYbody work started ( all black panels in pictures are new ). Unfortunately, the shop closed, and we got the car back in pieces. Most of the bodywork appears to be completed, but attention will be needed for the front fenders, doors, and I believe the transmission shifting cover. A compression test on the engine before removed showed 150 to 155 psi on all cylinders. The car comes with power windows, air conditioning, power front disk brakes, power steering, cruise control, floor console, overhead SE console, 6 - way driver's seat, rear defogger fan, and leather seats. I was told by a MOPAR friend that the fender tag ( included ) has the option info. There are some items missing, and to the best of my knowledge, they are, SE small rear window, some SE exterior trim, jack and spare tire, exhaust manifolds ( replaced by headers ), radio, windshield, rear, and one door glass. Please remember, that most items removed from this car will require attention before reassembly. I will add, that the upholstery is in good condition. Please note that two of the pictures of the car are before it went to the shop. they are not after photos. THE BUYER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING AND HANDLING, INCLUDING COSTS. The buyer will be responsible to make arrangements to have someone load the car, engine/transmission ( currently mounted on a rolling dolly ), and all boxes and loose items into a closed type of transport.
